the eighty-ninth key

…to a body beauty and to a soul wisdom and to an action virtue and to speech truth, but their opposites are unbefitting.

I’m Angela, and I really hate writing things about myself for a reason that is probably psychologically interesting.

I’m a Rhetoric geek/Comm nerd who did my undergrad at Willamette University (in Salem, OR). I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada- “The Biggest Little City in the World”- and my home-away-from-home is San Diego, California, where my parents are from and my extended family lives. I’m currently pursuing my MA and PhD in Communication Studies at Northwestern University, and trying to adapt to living in a place that is so flat and unknown, but full of new opportunities.

I’ve got a wide variety of other interests, most of which are pretty useless. They range from marksmanship (less useless) to poetry (more useless), cooking (quite useful) to obsessively following wedding blogs (very much not useful). There’s a lot of other things in the in-between… macrame, cycling… I’m a mixed bag.
